Quiet Zones
"Why You Need One"
Very few people know where the Bollingen Towers are. Carl Jung certainly did. This special place is located in Switzerland, and served as a personal sanctuary for Swiss psychiatrist. It was his ‘quiet zone’.
Carl Jung (1875-1961) was one of the most influential figures in the 20th Century, and his work has seen worldwide impact in several domains, including Psychology, Psychiatry, Philosophy, Sociology & Anthropology. Regardless of how innovative he was, he knew he needed to be able to structure these ideas in an organized fashion.
Have you ever felt like you had a tough time ‘locking it in’ because of all of the distractions around you? No matter how hard you try, you’re getting interrupted every 3 minutes?

Carl Jung’s Bollingen Towers
The Bollingen Towers were where Carl Jung escaped to do his deepest work. Here, he would enjoy uninterrupted bouts of deep focus where he was able to tap into some groundbreaking insight.
If you don’t already, you should consider creating a quiet zone, or going to one on a REGULAR basis.

Do You Have A “QUIET ZONE”?
Research has shown that within our ‘culture of noise’ in America, chronic noise has impacts on:
*Learning Ability
*Long-term memory
*Stress levels
*Blood pressure
*Other health issues.

What gold, what gems, what great innovation will come out of you as you retreat to your own personal Bollingen Tower?
If you need help learning more about quiet zones, or other addressing other areas as it relates to burnout, I have written an entire book on the subject that you can find here:
