The Super Fuel We Forget We Have
More Word = More Fire

Are you using your Super Fuel?
As an Athlete, there are physical limitations on your performance.
Based on your development and maturity level, there are psychological limitations as well.
So, what happens when you have peaked or have plateaued? Is there another gear?

David encouraged himself in the Lord (I Samuel 30:6)
The Bible says in Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” God’s Word is LIGHT. The more Word we have, the more light we have.
The Word of God:
Brings Clarity
Drives out confusion
Gives Life
Is Powerful
Builds Faith
Sharper than any two-edged sword
There are times during your journey where your fire is low. You need fuel. Your Bible is your fuel.
The more Word…the more FIRE…
Jesus defeated temptation from the devil by reciting Scripture (Matthew 4:1-11)…
David encouraged himself in the Lord (I Samuel 30:6)…
God commanded Joshua to not let the Word of God depart from his mouth (Joshua 1:8)…

It is easy to forget that we have spiritual firepower at our disposal...
The Word is how we fight. The Word is how we are fed. The Word is how we fly.
In the busy day-to-day of our lives, it is easy to forget that we have spiritual firepower at our disposal.
We are told that we should not live on bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).
Bottom Line: Get more time in your Bible.
This is how you can go beyond your physical and mental limitations.
You see, God requires faith in order to please Him…and faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17)
New levels of performance, of life, of breakthrough, etc. almost always require FAITH.
More Word = More Fire.

Josiah
